The best time to visit Morondava depends on what you prefer weather-wise.

May to October: This is the dry season with sunny skies and little rain. It’s a great time for outdoor activities like visiting the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, relaxing on the beach, or exploring the Avenue of the Baobabs. However, it can also be quite crowded during this peak season.

March to April and November: These shoulder months offer a good balance of warm weather with occasional rain showers. There are fewer crowds and hotel rates tend to be lower.

December to February: This is the wet season with the most rain. While the rain showers are usually brief, they can disrupt outdoor activities. However, the landscape is lush and green during this time, and there are far fewer crowds.
